Buying a Gun online

It is the buyer’s responsibility to perform these tasks before, during and after purchasing their Firearm from SEC Guns, in order to execute a smooth transaction.

1) Verify that the firearm you’re interested in and its Accessories (Magazine, Etc.), are compliant in your state.

2) Locate an FFL Dealer on our FFL locater before purchasing a firearm.

3) Ensure your confirming with the FFL Dealer that they accept transfers, in advance of purchasing from SEC Guns and that you would like to have it transferred to them, before purchasing a firearm.

4) Notify the FFL Dealer that a copy of their FFL is required to be emailed to, before purchasing a firearm.

5) Carefully read SEC Guns terms and conditions, shipping and refund policies in advance of finalizing your purchase.

6) Prior to completing your check out experience, ensure you’ve selected the correct firearms make and model.

7) During the check-out experience, please verify the accuracy of your billing and shipping information are correct before completing the order.

8) After your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. Please verify all the information is correct. If you find any discrepancies, please notify us right away either by phone during our standard business hours or via email at,

9) Lastly, after receiving your confirmation email, please notify the FFL Dealer that you have made a purchase, and a copy of their FFL is required in order to complete and ship out your order. Dealer FFL’s may be emailed to (

10) Once SEC Guns receive the FFL, we will ship out the firearm, and a tracking number will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.

11) After receiving an FFL, it may take anywhere from 24-48 hours to complete the process and ship your firearm to the chosen FFL Dealer.

For California residents, The CL# (Centralized List Number) must be included with the FFL.
